Keeping the Little Ones Busy

Activities for entertaining young children while older children are schooling with Mom or Dad

Our family’s homeschooling journey began in the late 1980’s, before many of the current homeschool helps were available. Consequently, I spent hours compiling resources and creatively applying them to enrich our homeschool experience. For decades, I have been sharing these lessons-learned in a variety of contexts: in conversations, conducting classes, teaching workshops, or writing articles for homeschool publications. I often wrote for my favorite newsletter – the Homeschooler’s Support Association (HSA) Happenings – and most articles shared in this blog are from past HSA Happenings newsletters. I have also shared other resources on this blog that were helpful to our homeschool journey; these were culled from a variety of sources. –Peggy Blanchard
